On Sunday afternoon we all went to our first pumpkin patch as a family. I've never carved a pumpkin so I knew this fall I needed to scope out a perfect pumpkin, carve something and make homemade pumpkin pie! We had such a long drive though. It was 45 minutes away to the patch. It had a corn field, petting zoo and mini gift shop. We walked through the corn field and I definitely started to feel closed in! Elsie loved the petting zoo so much! She had this permenant smile attached to her face. Priceless. Emma was the one who made the final choice on our pumpkin. Pretty good pickin'! Driving home I thought I could do alot with this pumpkin :) So I was happy with our trip out to the way too far away pumpkin patch. Oh and Ryan surprised me and bought me a jar of homemade pumpkin butter. Delicious!!! Overall, I loved this. I know it will be a family tradition for The Taylor's from now on...

We started carving pumpkins when our boys were little. . . And still do it every year! (I'll be doing that post soon as well) When we lived in Michigan they had the best Pumpkin patch/Cider Mills. This one looks great, you'll have to tell us where it's at!
